We had heard good things about Flex Eco, so when we decided to have solar panels and a battery installed we gave them a call.  Shaun came to see us very quickly, thoroughly discussed our needs and what was possible on the site and supplied a very detailed quote, which we accepted.  Time from acceptance to commencing the job was surprisingly quick. The team of electricians and panels installers were exceptional; Prompt, polite end efficient, working three whole days to install 18 panels,  EV charger and battery and the tunnelling, cabling and connection to the mains.  Since installation Flex Eco have responded to any questions and queries promptly.  The system seems to work very well and can be monitored and adjusted via an app.  It can also be monitored by Flex Eco, which is reassuring. We asked Matt for a quote for PV panels and batteries and he responded quickly, visiting a couple of times to discuss the fitting process and location of the equipment. Once we gave the 'go ahead' he and his team had the entire system fitted and operating within a week. We were particularly concerned that everything would be as unobtrusive as possible and the end result was excellent. Flex Eco installed 12 panels, a car charger, a hot water heater, inverter, consumer unit and all the connections for us in Dec 23.  The overall service was excellent. We recently spoke to Matt Horne of Flexeco regarding our solar system. It had ceased working, the inverter was old, it was all installed twenty years ago. Matt visited and had a look. He then spoke to us. Matt is one of those people who is so knowledgable in his field that he is able to make very complicated technical issues accessible and understandable - simple but not simplistic . It is rare that you meet someone so clear, efficient and knowledgable.  He explained all the possible scenarios for the system with no 'sales pressure', no frills, absolutely straight. He gave clear estimated costs for all the options followed by a detailed quote for three scenarios by email the same day. Very efficient. . . and he is a very nice guy. When the Flexeco team came to do the work it was the same. All the team were polite, very tidy, very aware of the environment (in the house and out) and all good fun. They work to a very high standard with great efficiency. Their work is clean, highly professional and they take the time to explain everything they are doing. They install latest technology components that are internet connected so you and Flexeco can see export and import and all aspects of how the system is performing. The word 'eco' is in their company name and this clearly is not a gimmick, they care and take care. Highly, highly, recommend Flexeco and all the team for any and all solar electrical work. Great service. Our solar would trip out in bad weather. We phoned to see if Flex Eco could have a look at it, within a few days someone came out they found the problem, fixed it and set everything up and running again. Highly recommended.

Short version: If you live in Seaton or the surrounding area and would like a PV (solar) instal - look no further. With excellent service and workmanship I can confidently recommend Flex Eco. Long version: As a tech enthusiast I had designed a solar system long before I contacted any professionals. I worked through all of the MCS installers in the region, despite my extensive research many installers contradicted what I knew to be true - not Flex Eco. Flex Eco were the only installer that bothered to visit us in person. After months of research I knew what they proposed really was the best available. In total I contacted five companies. One asked me to complete a lengthy form but subsequently ignored me despite chasing. Two others provided a paper only quote for a lesser system, and the other only responded long after I had given the go ahead to Flex Eco. I was thoroughly impressed that Flex Eco was able to instal our system so quickly, and they did a fantastic job. I've shown our system to many in the know and they are impressed. Neat, tidy, efficient and to spec! It's not all roses, they suffer from optimistic timelines. Too often I was told 'tomorrow' where it really meant 'in a week or two'. I would much rather be told 'in a fortnight' and be surprised by a week, than be told 'tomorrow' and disappointed with a week. However, this is a minor naggle. FlexEco gave us a great service and advice. Our system has performed as we had hoped and we are making great savings on our electric bills. The 20kw batteries make all the difference through the winter, allowing us to charge at a cheap rate over night and meet most of our daily electric needs, which is great as we have an Air Source Heat Pump and no gas supply. Matt & Shaun and their team are very helpful and keen to ensure everything is installed neatly and working properly. We had to do some roof maintenance recently and they just popped round and took a couple of PV panels off the next day and popped them back after, excellent service. Really impressive company. From the start and throughout they were very helpful,  knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Every member of staff we met from panel installation to the final inverter/battery fixing was very polite, professional and expert in their field. Very highly recommended.
